Lasagna

I was hungry for lasagna but didn't have
enough time to make the kind with uncooked noodles.
So I created a quick version.

  Components ready to layer.

Layer items as listed below.

Top with calories.

Lasagna

Cook 6 lasagna noodles until soft.
Sauce
1 lb. of hamburger, browned
2 large garlic cloves
1/2 of an onion, minced.
Saute until soft.
Then add-
1- 29 oz.can of tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Simmer on medium for 10-12 minutes.

Use two noodles per layer. Then spoon a third of the sauce
over noodles. Spoon a third of a 16 oz. cottage cheese on top of sauce.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and repeat layers 2 more times.
Top with mozzarella cheese and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

To complete your meal, I suggest you add this easy, garlic bread.

Grab garlic powder, pepper, parsley flakes, Parmesan and grated cheese.
Butter your bread and sprinkle these ingredients on top.

Place on a baking sheet and turn your oven on broil.

Broil until toasted and eat with your lasagna.
It's almost better than real garlic bread.

Enjoy,
Hope
