Christmas

I'm enjoying slowing getting ready for Christmas this year. I just added a little greenery here and there.

 Someone's already 9 months old!

She loves to get into all sorts of things.

Her first discovery of Christmas lights.

Blessings to you this Christmas,
Hope

Snow Globes

It's slowly starting to look like Christmas around here. I decided to make some snow globes to set around this year. They are super easy and fun for any age!

Just use epsom salt for snow and sprinkle in a little glitter for sparkle.
Add trees and tiny figurines of your choice.

Happy day!

2015 Farm Life Calendar

I decided to design a local farm life calendar this year. I grew up on a farm so I love the farm life.

This calendar is packed with good photos, stories and a recipe on each month for the Farmer's wife.

To purchase one visit my Etsy shop here.

If you are local they will be sold at both markets and
will make it there by the end of this week.

If you have questions send me an email at hopefulthings@aol.com.

Blessings,
Hope

Thanksgiving

My sister informed me the other day that I never blog anymore. I guess she's right.

Yesterday we went to Mom's for an early Thanksgiving feast. Needless to say we didn't go home hungry.

With a Thankful heart,

Fall Recipes

Fall baking is one of my favorites. It's less stressful than Christmas because there is no time crunch and well, you just bake something apple or pumpkin when you are in the mood.

Here are a few of my favorite fall recipes.

Southern Grain

I'm sure if you have followed me over the years you have learned that my husband, Joshua, enjoys working with wood.

I had started making a few cutting boards of my own last year and then he started. Me verses him in his woodworking shop is like him trying to cook in my kitchen. I could do it- but it just wasn't something that came easy for me, and well, he could whip up a cutting board in no time.

With all that being said I encouraged him to start an Etsy shop and he did!

May I present to you...

to view his shop go here!

First Family Photos

I have a talented friend who takes photos for a living. Amelia Schmid from The Pinwheel Collective was kind enough to take our first family photo shoot last week.

Sorry I got carried away posting,
