Making Apple Butter

I've always wanted to make apple butter and yesterday I finally did! My friend, Amy, invited us over to make it behind their barn and it was a lovely time.

    I love apple butter, and what a fun gathering idea! I want to move to your town to do all these domestic things with you two. ;)

    Apple butter that's made in a copper kettle over an open fire is the best! In fact, I visited Rockingham Co. this past week-end and brought home two quarts of apple butter. I'm thinking I should have bought more...
